Welcome to 2-3 years A
As educators in the 2-3 A room, we support and value play based experiences and undertake both spontaneous and planned opportunities for all children to be active learners and efficient communicators. We ensure that all children feel safe secure and supported and that they can learn to interact in relation to others with care, empathy and respect.
We encourage self-help, social and emotional wellbeing and also health and physical wellbeing. This allows the children to feel a connection to their environment both at kindy and at home as well as having a sense of belonging with their fellow friends.
We have a flexible room routine that allows for play to continue and not be interrupted, and for children to be able to use play to investigate imagine and explore their ideas. The 2-3A room is set up with the interest of the children’s interest and ideas, we value and respect all family input and incorporate their input into the programing.
We have developed meaningful relationships and bonds with families and their children. We encourage families to approach us with any concerns they may have in regards to their child or room. We encourage and respect families and their identity and make them feel that they belong.
